Service Overview
Solar water heating (SWH) is the process of heating water
with the use of sunshine and a solar thermal collector. SWHs are commonly
employed in both residential and industrial settings, switching to them will
lead to a reduction of your domestic carbon footprint.
A sun-facing
collector warms a working fluid, which is then stored for later use. SWH can be
active (pump) or passive (non-pump) (convection-driven). They either use solely
water or a combination of water and a working fluid. They are heated either
directly or by the use of light-concentrating mirrors.
